I’ll just continue where I stopped last time…
After going to the aiport to retrieve the bags we found out the bags still didn’t arrive, even though they informed the hotel that the bags had arrived. At the airport they said it was “miscommunication”….
After going back again, more than an hour with the car, we hired some motor bikes to drive around . We went to some nice beaches and to a fort with a nice view. In the eveni ng we went to a bar along the beach and we thought it was a smart thing to drive back in the dark. The first night it was okay but the last night I almost hit a cow while following Rutger…
The second day we received a call that one of the bags had arrived but that they had no clue where the other bag was (Maikel, it was my bag they where missing ;-)). We just said that we where going to pick up the bag tomorrow and that, if the other bag would not arrive, they just could send it back home. At the end everything went fine and my bag arrived a couple of hours before our flight left to Delhi.
In Delhi we just where curious of the bags would arrive so we could take a shower with shampoo and put on some fresh clothes. I ripped out of 2 pants, the first after an hour , so wearing my own clothes that stayed in one piece was very nice….
Delhi was just a big city with not al lot to do, we went to some tourist sites but for the rest we mainly where supprised by the smell of the city, it just stinks enormous and the amount of people that walks and lives on the streets is amazing.
The evenings we spend with some guys drinking beers and and as always a lot of small talk…
On Thursday we took the train to Jaipur, we had the train at 6 in the morning. After getting on the train 30 seconds later the bag of Rutger was stolen…… luckliy his passport was in my bag, apart of the inconvenience and the stuff that is stolen like a camera, money and all our creditcards ( with the help from home, Thanks mom and Saskia) everything is blocked.
At the moment we are sitting on the rooftop of the hostel with some cold drinks and a view on the old city of Jaipur and everything is okay again :).

It's nice to hear from you in daytime,and I hope everything will be okay right now.
Ja Delhi stinkt, maar het is een hele speciale geur in heel India.
Tjonge jonge de kleding kwaliteit van India is dus niets voor jou ofschoon je thuis ook wel eens uit een broek scheurt, ha ha
Vanmiddag is de durry gearriveerd veel tapijt in een heel klein pakje erg leuk Ik heb foto's dus dat zie je thuis.

En hup, voor je het weet een ervaring rijker en wat spulletjes armer.That's life, my dear.Neem dat maar aan van je oude,langzaam slanker wordende, tante. Gelukkig zijn jullie flexibel en gaat de trip gewoon door. Had nu toch maar zo'n lekker ruim vallende slobberbroek gekocht. Die scheuren niet zo snel uit. Of smaakt de curry te goed.En wat ik ook heb begrepen, de koeien hebben geen achterlicht in India.

Mom send us picture of beautiful rug/carpet. Verry,verry big rug/carpet all the way from India in verry verry small package.
we say verry nice and colourfull rug/carpet, so you do not need to pick up packadge of beautifull/colourfull carpet any more.
Ik weet dat je heel dat kleed niet op hoefde te halen, maar heb dit alleen maar geschreven omdat ik iets op zijn india's engels neer wilde zetten.(Mijn fantasie speelt weer op)Was er zelf wel content mee.

nou zo creatief als Gerry ben ik niet en vind het wel heel erg voor jullie dat jullie al zo snel een rugzak kwijt zijn, maaar bekijk het positief; hoef je er ook niet meer mee te sjouwen. En de ervaring met een koffer die er niet is ... heb ik al eerder gehoord. Geniet met volle teugen en wat de stank betreft: diep snuiven zodat de stank verdwijnt of je neus wat vaker dichthouden of hetmaar accepteren. knuffel van mij.
